Beem hides all other icons in the statusbar

Description

When Beem is running in the background I sometimes see that is makes all the other icons in the statusbar invisible. Guess this action is done to show text messages beside Beem icon, BUT in 95% of cases i dont' have any text there - just a blank space.

One can be reproduced by keeping an Auto-away option enabled, using Online status, with software displaylock disabled (an option for Tablets in CM7 - I use ZTE device with a hardware button for that). Switching that button off/on causes an issue described.

Suggestion: check if text is blank and disable an event if so.
